OPEN LETTER TO: ALDERMEN ALEXANDER & FELTS FROM LOCAL VOTERS!

Nolensville may not be "Paradise Acres",
but you can see it and the pot of gold at
the end of the rainbow from almost
everywhere in our fair city.

ATTENTION: Mr. Alexander you were
elected as an alderman by many voters
who thought your 30 yrs. experience in
municipal governments would be very
valuable in Nolensville. You'll recall
you ran on a promise that said PUD's
don't work in Nashville and they won't
work in Nolensville. As local voters we
took you at your word and voted you in
as alderman.
People are now asking
WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU? Why
did you flip/flop and vote for PUD's ?
We are keenly disappointed in you and
your record of meekly going along with
the mayor and voting to support him
everytime. People have moved to the
Nolensville area because it is truly one
of the last remaining "unspoiled" areas.
Your continued support of the mayor
and his runaway housing development
program is nothing less than a "sellout."
Your original position on PUD's was a
solid foundation we as voters thought
together we could build on. Protecting
our city from congestion and future
blighted neighborhoods sounded good.
BEFORE THURS. 2/2/06 BOMA ......
WHY NOT LOOK IN THE MIRROR
AND SEE IF YOU CAN FIND THE
IMAGE OF THE TRUE & DEPEND-
ABLE ALDERMAN WE ALL THOUGHT
YOU WERE AND BRING "HIM" TO THE
MEETING HE CAN STAND UP TO THE
MAYOR AND VOTE HIS VERY
OWN MIND WITHOUT COMPROMISE.

ATTENTION: Mr. Felts you were elected as
alderman by many local voters because you
appeared to be a strong and independent
leader who knows his own mind. You were
the first to keep after the Mayor about a Code
of Ethics and why it is so necessary. You were
the first to firmly suggest that every board
member should be careful not to reflect on
another's reputation and character. These
were all solid gold concepts and we as voters
were counting on you to continue to promote
them. But alas...something has happened to
you and your participation on the board. Out
of sight out of mind seems very appropriate.
WHAT HAPPENED? Who stepped on your
pride or did it get up and go? With the Mayor
voting plus only four other aldermen..YOU
CANNOT SIT ON THE SIDELINES NO WAY!
Before the next BOMA take some time to reflect
and look into the mirror and see if you can find
the Felts that everybody voted for...and bring
him to the meeting. He will be welcomed as
never before. You know down deep in your heart
things have got to change or else we will inherit
deep debt problems and this current mayor will
be long gone. The Mayor's Majority Machine has
got to stop. Felts and Alexander as a team are the
only hope to break this guaranteed majority vote
that the Mayor thinks cannot be broken. It is up
to both of you to stand up and and get mad as
%$#& and not put up with it anymore! Do not
for a moment underestimate the people that live in
Nolensville. They are honest and patient people,
but after a while they will not put up with "WIMPS".
The ball is in your court you can run with it or
dribble it away. Readers of the blog have had it...
just read their comments they don't like the Mayor's
Majority Mess. It is time to support the voters
that put you in office. We know you both can do it!
SEND IN YOUR COMMENTS & EMAILS ASAP.

Mayor/Board forced to find money fast to fund road repair & repaving due to thousands of new homes approved by board.

Although 2 years too late with absolutely
no advance planning in place this Mayor
failed miserably to anticipate what road
repairs and repaving would be required
before they approved and continue to
approve new housing developments.

Read article in today's Tennessean 1/30
where Notestine town attorney (just now)
"suggests a road study to document what
kind of work would be needed in coming
years." Why wasn't this study done 2 years
ago before city approved new subdivisions
left and right?

Ready for this...Mayor says "we will have to
do this study. It's important when you look
at what we've got coming on places like York
and Kidd roads. I think (not sure) we need to
move forward on this as quickly as possible."
QUESTION: Mayor why wasn't this done
2 years ago before city approved new sub-
divisions over and over?

Blog reader reminds us..."Our poor weak
little Mayor always acts like he is so power-
less...watch how he continues to cheerlead
for more developments. Definitely time for
him and his boys to go."

What kind of road study was done when city
annexed 2,200 acres last year. Waller road
came with it and city thot Brentwood annex-
ed half of it...not so! Brentwood is now study-
ing how much $$$'s in road repairs before
they annex it. Estimates show $350,000
would be Nolensville's share---so much for
advance planning--Mr. Mayor.

Take Kidd road and Mayor's overwhelming
desire to annex acres and acres, but Kidd
road repairs are so costly that the county
will not approve a subdivsion in this area.
Yet, the city plows ahead with no advance
planning, no cost estimates for road repairs
ignoring the county's refusal to approve any
subdivision off Kidd road due to the cost?

Then there's the TDOT (widen)Nolensville
road project that will cost ONE MILLION
dollars from Nolensville to push the project
up the calendar to 2015 or even 2025. Mayor
where is that in our city budget??

Brentwood has a public works fee and Franklin
has a road impact fee...Nolensville HAS GOT
NOTHING...NADDA...NO FEE..NO NOTHING!
Great pre-planning by Mayor and team swinging
into action part-time TWO YEARS TOO LATE!

Mayor sums up the Tennessean article "We're not
unique. I can name 10 other cities that are doing
this right now." BUT NOLENSVILLE ISN'T
DOING ANYTHING ABOUT ROAD STUDIES,
FEES...NOTHING! WHAT WE ARE DOING IS
CONTINUING TO APPROVE THOUSANDS OF
NEW HOMES WITH NO MONEY TO SERVICE
THE ROADS PERIOD.

Show up this Thursday 2/2/06 at town hall
meeting and tell the Mayor directly to stop
this MADNESS. The city budget is broke...so
stop annexing more land and approving more
homes now! Even if you don't give a &^%$$ we
as local residents are responsible for city
expenses and property taxes now and in years
to come. Send in your comments and emails.

"We're Full Up with PUD'S..Please Make Them Go Away!"

This protest ad ran in last Friday's Nolenville
Dispatch. Personally paid for by Mr. O'kain
and Mr. Clark..local residents who along with
many more in our community DON'T LIKE
PUD'S. What's a PUD? It's a development
with small lots 6,000 sq. ft. like Bent Creek.
Over 75% of local residents told city hall NO
PUD'S PERIOD. Despite this message to our
city hall..Mayor and his 2 majority aldermen
have approved PUD'S OVER AND OVER!!!

PUD streets are too narrow
for ambulance and fire trucks.
Recent emergency call requir-
ed ambulance team to scramble
out of the vehicle and run down
the street with stretcher/ gurney
to rescue patient.
Your Mayor and 2 majority aldermen
plus planning commssion approved these
narrow "undersized"streets.
Enough is enough!

What can you do as a local resident? Call your
neighbors and bring them with you to next town
hall meeting 2/2/06.Thursday at 7 PM. Then
everyone of you sign up to speak directly to the
Mayor eye-ball to eye-balls. Make sure you have
his attention before you start to speak, he has
a habit of talking to city attorney and not paying
attention to you. Pick out just one attention
grabber...&^$%#$...then speak up so everyone
can hear you... THEN SPEAK CLEARLY
AND SLOWLY "NO MORE PUD'S PERIOD!"
Move aside so you neighbor can speak after
you with same message.."NO MORE PUD'S
PERIOD!" Then the next neighbor and on and
on and on...just maybe he'll get it. Get creative
and bring along some posters 16"x 24" nailed
to small post. Quietly while your neighbor is
speaking to the Mayor the rest of your 50
member group can hold up their signs...each
with a different message, but same point......
"NO MORE TEENIE WEENIE LOTS ON
TEENIE WEENIE STREETS"

Before the next 2/2/06 thursday meeting take
time to call or email the Mayor and 4 aldermen.
Be sure to call Mr. Dugger and Mr. Alexander
they make up the "majority-twins" guaranteed
to vote with the Mayor every time.

PUD stands for "professionally undersized
development"with hiking trails, pocket parks,
reflecting ponds and community tree houses.
But no room left over for houses and streets?

Call Mr. Clark and Mr. O'kain and thank them
for their ad and ask them what you can do to
help. Call your friends and make sure they have
read the ad. After Feb.02 we have 8 town hall
meetings left before the November 2006
election. WE NEED A QUALIFIED CANDIDATE
TO RUN FOR MAYOR AND TWO ALDERMEN.

Send in your comments and emails to us ASAP!

NO KIDDING? KIDD RD. LAND OWNERS SAY NOT IN MY BACK YARD! MAYOR'S ONE & 1/2 HOUR ANNEXATION TALK TOO LONG! FACTS UNCLEAR! LET'S SLOW DOWN GROWTH!

Today's Tennessean says..."Mayor touts
benefits of annexation...that would add
1,253 acres to town, but residents wary"

Most Kidd road residents cannot under-
stand why the city must annex this land
so fast?
Mayor tried to answer this question
as follows: "City must annex this land ASAP
before the County approves it for developers.
IF that happens the city loses control of the
area and cannot ask the county to allow city to
annex it. The county approval is irreversible."

The dirty little secret is that the county
won't approve a development of 675
homes in this area because Kidd Rd.
cannot handle the increased traffic.
We checked with 2 Williamson
county commissioners and it is true, they will
not approve a major subdivison of 4,222 new
people until Kidd road is widen and improved.
So why the urgency...why is our Mayor so deter-
mined to annex 1,253 acres and approve this
new development of 4,222 new people.

ANSWER: to get more impact dollars for his
budget and the Mayor and the developer both
know the county won't approve a new develop-
ment in this area...but the city will. Done deal?
Well yes, because the Mayor and two of his per-
sonal aldermen will vote for it as a majority vote
as they have over and over. But what about the
condition of Kidd road? Mayor said he would get
the county to "re-surface" it and that would be
adequate for increased traffic. County commiss-
ioners DO NOT agree that it would be OK,
but once the city annexes it, the city can do
whatever it pleases.

Of the 57 Kidd road land owners, many in the
meeting were disappointed, discouraged and
don't really think they can do anything to stop
this annexation.
Well GOOD NEWS...they can
threaten a law suit to stop it. Judge Heldman
in Franklin is very supportive of local residents
and would no doubt stop the annexation. The
Mayor and Board won't want to go through
another, of many past, law suits.

Another dirty little secret is that this Kidd road
annexation will appear on the Feb. 06 town hall
meeting for first reading and guaranteed
approval via the Mayor's "slam dunk" majority
vote on the board.
Behind the scenes this new
development is already in the works as a PUD.

Then come Mar. 06 it will appear again as a
Public Hearing with citizen input that will in
no way affect the Mayor's "slam dunk"majority
vote.
All the while work is being done on the
future 675 homes because approval for a PUD
is guaranteed! No $$$'s support for schools,
roads, fire dept., etc. because any motion to ask
the developer for support cannot get a second
on the board so it will die. End of support.

Hooray! Come April 06 the annexation will
appear for the final time for (guaranteed)

approval. Done deal, but no money for infra-
structure. Welcome to politics as usual.
4,222 more people, more traffic on old roads
with no improvement in sight. Until TDOT
swings into action in 2025.

What about developments on fringe
of Nolensville city limits...like Burkitt
road with a future 900 new home develop-
ment. 900 homes X 2.7 occupants= 2,430
new neighbors that will drive thru and shop
and impact our city.

QUESTION: for all 57 Kidd road residents...
will you be better off with this annexation
and 675 homes with 4,222 people as a PUD
for starters---with more developments and
people to come. The Mayor said tuesday nite
"that he thinks it (town/Mayor) can offer a
better deal than what Kidd Rd. residents
currently get for living in the country."
Ask yourself what is better about 4,222
new people trying to drive on roads too
small and too dangerous. No thanks Mayor!
Look at the other developments approved
by City Hall..Ballenger Farms (too narrow
streets), Bent Creek (too narrow streets),
most with postage stamp lots (PUD's).

Tues. nite the Mayor said. "the town can't
halt this growth because of individual pro-
perty rights issues."
Local citizen writes:
"did I hear right? The mayor said the reason
there is so much growth is because folks are
selling out. So I guess the idea of a SLOW
DOWN, in order to have good growth is out
because folks are selling their farms sooooo
fast. MM'm let me think about that one?"

Mayor said tues. nite.."Annexation would
neither slow nor quicken developers' interests
in the 1,253 acres." Local citizen says:
"Who do you think controls how land is
developed.Our POOR WEAK LITTLE MAYOR
always acts like he is so POWERLESS.
Watch how he continues to cheerlead for more
and more developments."

"People have a right to sell their property.
We can't stop them."Mayor said. Kidd road
resident said..."that's true Mr. Mayor, but
we can STOP YOU and your guaranteed
majority vote on the board."

Mayor said residents will get better represen-
tation from the town's planning commission
than the county's commissioners. Kidd road
resident said..."How so? County commissioners
won't approve this new annexation/development
due to condition of Kidd road not being able to
handle increased traffic---but Nolensville Plann-
ing Commission, with all of it's members
appointed by the Mayor, will approve it.
How is that better?"

Nolensville residential developments within
the town (supposedly) have a density
of 1.8 homes per acre vs:the county's 3 homes
per acre.
But as Kidd road resident said.."So what? When
the city allows the developer to suddenly become
a PUD--density is out the window."

NOTE TO ALL 57 KIDD RD. RESIDENTS:
IF YOU DON'T WANT TO BE ANNEXED

HALL MEETING AND PROTEST THIS
FIRST READING AND APPROVAL VOTE!

Public Meeting/Elementary School Tues., 1/24 7PM., Kidd Rd. Annexation--Don't Miss It!

Nolensville anxious about another
large annexation north and south
of Kidd Road to the Davidson county
line? City leaders say this is necessary
to provide more local control and
unput into future new developments.
QUESTION? How much local control
has been effective in many of the ER's,
SR's and PUD'S Already Being Built?

Local residents say "precious little"...
developers have had their way with
whatever they want courtesy
City Hall!

Local blog reader comments as follows:
"They are wanting to rezone from
Suburban Residential??? (How a farm
is already zoned residential I'm not sure
when that slipped through) to another
PUD???? On that new "Roadways" plan
a road is to run across the backside of the
McFarland property from Fly road.
(eventually to Kidd). It was also noted that
the expected new residents would exit to
McFarland and or Fly right now; emptying
out to Rocky Springs/Rocky Fork without
acess to "town" except from going up to
NEW road then back down??? Or
McFarland to Kidd."

Another local blog reader comments:
"It's about time City Hall looks beyond
ONE road and ONE more development
and looks at the bigger picture before
they sell the soul of Nolensville to the
highest developer bidder.
How greedy can these people get???
Folks before its too late speak up at
YOUR MEETING!
How will you benefit, folks of Kidd Rd?
How does the County fit into all of this
also? Most folks that live in Nolensville
go outside of the town to work, so what
type of highway will take them to Cool
Springs or the interstates of Williamson
County?"

Heads Up! Nolensville People planning to
attend this meeting. Here's how Fairview
conducts a public meeting like this...they
invite the following people to attend...
2-Fairview City Commissioners, 2-Planning
Commission members, 2-County Commiss-
ioners, a school board member, director of
the county Parks & Recreation Dept., a
county Planning Commissioner, 2-residents
from the afffected area, 2-from non-affected
area, 1-from area Chamber of Commerce,
Police and Fire Chiefs, Codes, City Manager,
1-from county Roads Dept, 1-from Water
Dept. and last of all city's attorney.

Bring pad and paper and write down how many
people like this attend the Nolensville meeting?

Special Note: Fairview is under a state-issued
moratorium on growth. Nothing moves until
this is lifted. Maybe Nolensville needs this kind
of outside control over our run-away City Hall?

Plan to attend this meeting and then send us
your comments and emails...ASAP!!!!!!

"WELL DONE MAYOR, NO SCARY DOGS AT THE DUMP!"

Get a dog catcher and get a bigger
dump. The first 2006 priorities for
our Nolensville Infrastructure to
keep up with our explosive growth!
In recent newspaper article the
Mayor said" we need animal control
and to cope with crowds at recycling
center. But these things take time."

One of our blog readers puts it even
better--straight to the point!
"Well done Mayor, no scary Dogs at the
dump. That will make me want to buy a
tiny house on a tiny lot, on a wee little
road, in a HUGE development. Let's not
forget the charming LITTLE country
roads that will take me there."

What comes first you ask?? How about
adequate roads, traffic lights, sensible
traffic plans, consistent and fixed
policies for developments for starters.

Push the PAUSE BUTTON ON ALL
FUTURE ANNEXATIONS until the
city can catch up!

Demand housing developments support
our schools, roads, fire department and
become a part of our community. No
more hit and run...here today and gone

Nolensville Growth Continues to Draw (Local) Skeptics?

Today's Tennessean article by Bonnie
Burch (click here) Williamson County
News (Franklin) tells just how people
feel about explosive growth surround-
ing Nolensville.(same headline above).

One year ago a majority of respondents
to a survey 74% said they didn't like
PUD's period! And 66% said they only
wanted standard sub-divisions on half-
acre lots or above.

Aldermen Jimmy Alexander who ran on
platform of NO PUDS to get elected. And
then after he got elected he has voted for
PUD'S every time! Alexander was quoted
as saying.."This land can only be developed
on half-acre lots. That means no PUD'S,"
His voting record doesn't back up his words.

Planning Commission recently approved the
town's Comprehensive Land Use Plan that
supposedly helps the city decision process
but it isn't the final authority since existing
housing developments vary widely from any
consistent control.

Most local residents are skeptical and are
convinced rezoning can be changed at a later
date to allow smaller lot sizes...as has already
happened.

Bonnie quotes the Mayor Charles Knapper
saying..."the town is getting ready infra-
structure-wise for the growth...such as
animal control and crowds at recycling bins."
What does "getting ready" mean...starting
to commence to begin...to think about maybe
doing something next year?

More good news road problems will definitely
be begin to be solved some time around 2025?
Per Mayor's report on TDOT priorities as based
on Spring Hill's SEVEN YEAR WAIT.

"We are working diiligently on these things, but
they take time," the Mayor said.

2006 will continue to be explosive growth
in our city and require full time decision
making. Our current Mayor and 2 alder-
men will no longer be on board as of
November so now is the time to start
encouraging qualified candidates to start
running for office.

Send us your candidate suggestions,
comments and emails.

QUESTION? WHY ARE ALL THE NEW HOMES SO CLOSE TO EACH OTHER??

IT'S NET DENSITY STUPID!

Our Planning Commission can try
and enforce 1-unit (house) per acre,
but guess what?? Try this true story
on for size. Owner has a 1,500 acre
tract he wants to develop. Too bad
750 acres are on hillsides that don't
meet the slope requirements. And
another 500 acres are unable to be
built on for a variety of reasons.
But at 1-unit per acre GROSS as it
is now, he can still get 1,500 homes,
but he has to cram them on 250
acres less green space requirement
(20% minimum). He is now left with
200 acres to build 1,500 homes or
7.5 units per acre NET DENSITY.
This is the real "bait-n-switch, and
it goes on every day in every city in
our county and the country, too.
YEAH!, the developer cramed you
all together, called it a PUD and
you got 1,300 acres you and the
other 1,499 homeowners can pay
to maintain. Man, how sweet is
that income/profit and -0- main-
tenance for the developers???
WELCOME TO PARADISE ACRES!
This story explains why there seems
to be a constant stream of requests
for rezoning. Estate Residential to
Suburban Residental to PUDS.
E.R.=one & 1/2 acres to S.R.=1 acre,
to PUD or "pretty undersized develop-
ment."
QUESTION??? Does the city approve
zoning to benefit the city's long range
plans or the developer's immediate
needs who will be gone tomorrow??
Send in your comments and emails.

need a Planning Commission?????

REMINDER TO CITY LEADERS:WHERE'S THE EQUAL TREATMENT FOR HOME DEVELOPERS?

OPPS! ONLY BRITTAIN DOWNS
IS EXCUSED FROM DONATING
MONEY TO SCHOOLS & ROADS!

Today's Sunday Tennessean article
by Bonnie Burch (1/8/06) tells us
about last Thursday's Town Hall
meeting. She recounts how our city
leaders "wrestled with what specifically
to ask for from developers (i.e. Brittain
Downs) as part of the conditions for
approval."

Ask Bent Creek developers how difficult
it was for city to demand that they build
a road around the town cemetery in l8
months or NO MORE BUILDING PER-
MITS WOULD BE APPROVED..PERIOD!

Then Bonnie quotes the town attorney,
Bob Notestine, saying "he cautioned
that this request (to developers)
shouldn't be a condition of approval
which would take the voluntary nature
out of the equation."

What a sellout! In others words...demand
everything you can get out of Bent Creek...
but don't ask Brittain Downs for anything
because it might not seem to be voluntary.

Question: who does our town attorney
work for?....the city or the developers?

Bonnie's article goes on about one alder-
man asking Brittain Downs to donate
money to our local schools i.e. $1,000
each for 141 lots. Similar to Taramore on
Split Log Road that donated $1,250
for each of their 274 lots.

In our previous post about 1/5/05 Town
Hall meeting we tell you how absolutely
no one on the board, including the Mayor
would second the motion to ask Britttain
Downs for any kind of donation to any-
thing? WHY?????????

"Bend Bent Creek over backwards and
demand they build new road around
cemetery"...but make it look like it was
voluntary and not a condition of
approval??? (per town attorney).

OR...tell Silver Stream to build a new
bridge on Rocky Fork and the road
around the Methodist church but
make it look like it was voluntary
and not a condition of approval???
(per town attorney).

But don't ask Brittain Downs to do any-
thing about Brittain road after their
construction traffic destroys it along
with part of Sunset road.
OH NO! Brittain
Downs isn't making enough money. HA!

How about close to $80 Million dollars
on homes up to $700,000 each.

In our previous post go back and read
more about this "give-a-way" with abso-
lutely no equal treatment. Favored treat-
ment, exceptions, twisting policies and
just outright biased voting seems to be
the accepted way of decision making.

Who loses big time in this situation?
The city does...the schools, the fire dept.,
the roads and much more!

2006 is the year for local citizen voters
to organize to move them out of office...
they gotta go...the Mayor...2 aldermen
and most of the appointed people on the
commissions. Now is the time to start
Spring Cleaning early and keep at it until
November when we can vote them out.

Send in your comments and emails.

TOWN MEETING REPORT THURS.,1/5/05, 7 PM, BOARD OF MAYOR & ALDERMEN

Nolensville countryside untouched!

This is what our elected city leaders
are giving away to housing developers
"free of charge" no strings attached.

Last thurs. night's town hall meeting
was a total giveaway to developers.
Local citizens spoke out about not
giving away our most precious asset...
land.
But, as the meeting moved on
it was sadly true our elected leaders
melted before developers asking for
approval.

The Mayor, 3 aldermen with help
from town attorney refused to
demand a contribution to our local
schools, roads, fire dept., etc. from
Brittain Downs.
This development will
sell homes from $400,000 to $700,000
on 141 lots for an estimated total sales
income of over $78 Million or More!!!

The developer Y & R Properties can
easily afford to donate to our new Sunset
school, help build the roads, donate to
Fire Dept., and much more. $141,000 or
$1,000 per lot was proposed as a fair
contribution by Brittain Downs to city
by only ONE alderman ,but failed because
not the Mayor or 3 aldermen would second
it!
Folks...this Mayor and 2 aldermen---
Dugger and Felts MUST GO IN NOV.2006!

This continued "give-away" is unexcuseable!
These 3 "mousekiteers" are giving away our
city and lands without any infrastructure
support ($$$$'s) from developers who will
make 100's of millions of $$$$'s.

The Mayor coached, goaded, scolded and in
every way tried to get Dugger to some how
form a complete sentence in the form of a
motion to ask Brittain Downs for some kind
of contribution. The performance went on far
too long and included the town attorney insert-
ing himself into the embarrassing exchange.

Our part-time Mayor and part time alder-
men Dugger,Felts & Alexander are no
match for these professional developers.

NOTE: Alexander ran on platform to get
elected where he said PUD's don't work in
Nashville and they won't work in Nolensville.
Guess what...he has votedfor every PUD in
Nolensville. He needs watching!

The Mayor announced two resignations from
the Planning Commission McArthur and Dr.
Clark.(No doubt too busy and/or totally
"fed-up" with the ?????? planning commiss-
ion.) Remember, the Planning Commission
members are all appointed by the Mayor.
And, the Mayor is a self-appointed member
with voting rights. So much, for new creative
and independent decision process.

TDOT report from Mayor about "fast-track"
schedule to widen Nolensville Road in 2025
or maybe 2016??? Mayor said this was really
good progress despite what Nolensville Blog
said about city not caring about roads. Ok,
when does King Street get fixed and what's
left of Sam Donald all destroyed by construc-
tion traffic. Maybe in 2007 after the Mayor
moves on.

Citizen Input Time: Outstanding citizen Cindy
Arnold of Dortch Lane spoke about Brittain
Downs. 1. Keep it Standard subdivision with
larger lots...do not allow it to slide into PUD.
2. Larger lots, larger set backs, no front door
garages...more garages on side. 3. Wider
streets 24 to 30 ft. Told about Bent Creek
emergency call for ambulance, but crew could
not get down narrow streets. Forced to take
gurney/bed out and run down street to get to
patient. City approved these streets.

Item 12: Rezone Estate Residential to
Surburban Residential for SILVER STREAM
on York Rd. 158 lots...20,000 sq. ft. ...28 ft.
streets. Local citizens input said keep it as is
...Estate Residential with 1 & 1/2 acre lots.
Citizens fear rezoning will slowly grow and
become PUD overnite. ER to SR to PUD.
Can't trust Planning Commission and or
Mayor/Board and developer. Just prior to
begin to build "higher density" PUD is just
too irresistible.

11 Months to go...until local citizens can
vote for new Mayor and new team. Lots
of damage can be done in 11 months, but
by attending every Town Hall Meeting for
each month we can hopefully limit the
damage. Don't miss a meeting and don't
miss reading this blog. Send in your
comments and emails.
