"WE ARE SELLING BECAUSE WE DON'T WANT TO BE AROUND WHEN MORE GAS STATIONS, FAST FOOD DRIVE-IN'S & ELECTRONIC EXPRESS COME!"

Here they come! 3,000 projected homes and golf course in
College Grove! Triune 265-acre farm sold for 12,5 million
or $47,000 per acre and 6.4 acres zoned commercial along
highway priced at $200,000 per acre. People in Triune
when asked why they were selling said "they don't want
to be around when the truck stops come!"

Now comes the question "What about Nolensville?" Who is
protecting our town's resources and future growth? Who
is planning our traffic routes? What about some badly need-
ed traffic lights?
Drive up the road to new Concord Shopp-
ing Center they have not one, but three new traffic lights?
Our town has not one? Try driving thru the intersection of
Rocky Fork and Nolensville Road in early morning and at
night? 25 cars backed up in every direction honking and
shouting sweet terms of endearment to each other?
Just
wait till the new school opens...total grid-lock? Anybody
care? Anybody plan for this? Where does the buck stop?

Who knows how much this explosive growth is costing our
town? How many impact fees have we deposited in our
town's bank account to service all of these new subdivis-
ions? Zip you say? None? Nadda? Why?

Think we need a 24-7 professional town manager like
nearbyBrentwood and Franklin. Think we will get one?
Don't hold your breath! How about that Finance Com-
mittee of local qualified professionals? Don't bet on it?

Now that the elections are over are we in trouble right
here in Nolensville? You decide? Better yet is the Pope
Catholic? Tell us about your priorities? Excuse me you
say you are selling out? Well then forget the priorities?

URGENT! TO NEW MAYOR AND NEW & OLD ALDERMEN--"Something has got to be More Important than Something Else!"

What's it going to be? 2007 is almost here and
we have a new mayor and some old aldermen
plus one trainee alderman. What will be their
new list of priorities that need to be worked on
FIRST!

Mayor Lother's wants to form a "task force" to
work on a new recreation center. WRONG!
This is not high on any serious priority list!

Here's our priority list that should be adopted
by this new town hall team.

1. Hire a professional city manager just like
Franklin and Brentwood. Mike Walker of Brent-
wood has been on the job for 18 years with a pro-
ven record of saving Brentwood millions of
dollars. Now don't get confused. Not an office
manager! We need a professional administrator
of all town affairs. Someone who can write a
contract, hire and fire people, tough negotiator
and on the job 24/7. Heads up people not an
office manager. This person reports to the board
and has full authority to carry out his job descrip-
tion. THIS IS NUMBER ONE PRIORITY! And
don't start with "we can't afford one!" Nolens-
ville cannot afford NOT TO HIRE ONE! Yes, it
is true neither our new mayor nor any of the
alderman have the professional experience a
new city manager would bring to the job. So
let's do it and hire one ASAP.

2. ASAP create a town government Finance
Committee with the help of our new city man-
ager. It should be composed of volunteer pro-
fessionals living in town. Some have already
volunteered. This is a crucial need this group
of professionals to advise/recommend where
and how to invest town's funds. Again, the
mayor nor any alderman have the combined
experience to do this nor should they try. Get
real..get a professional team to do it and there-
by avoid conflicts of interest and liabilities.

3. Create a new town hall committee to research
and suggest options to obtaining new town
hall facilities. This is more important than trying
to fund a new recreation center. Yes, there will
be members of the board that disagree. And our
new mayor will have to moderate her supposed
campaign promise about a new recreation center.
New town hall facilities come first before a new
recreation center that the town cannot afford.

4. Hold an OPEN AS NEVER BEFORE OPEN
TO THE PUBLIC meeting and invite all local
residents to be allowed to speak about the cur-
rent and future of our town. DO NOT GANG
UP on local residents and threaten to evict
them from the meeting. Just let it all hang out!
One policeman is enough! This will take "guts"
but, it's way overdue and this board should do it
and LISTEN UP! Otherwise, the attendance at
board meetings will dry up! No body will attend
and for good reason.

More to come..send in your comments on what
you think your priority list should contain?

Here's What One of our Neighborhood Blogs Thinks about the Future?

Spring Hill Tn.blogspot.com
"Spring Hill is one of the fastest growing cities in the
United States, and five years from now it will be an
entirely different place than what it is today. Hopefully,
it is for the better, but that will not be possible without
concerned citizens rising up to be heard now. I have
started this dialogue to help all of us better understand
how our city government works and what they are doing
right or wrong."

Spring Hill's population growth is expected to exceed the
growth of Franklin and may very well end up being the
largest city in Williamson County.

Nolensville's growth is already beyond what was pre-
dicted and like Spring Hill five years from now it will be
an entirely different place than what it is today.

We have just finished an election and the voters here,
right or wrong, have chosen a few new people and re-
elected some of the previously elected people to serve
for the next four years. Together, this group of people
can have a very positive influence on our town for the
better, but not without concerned citizens rising up to
be heard now.

Unfortunately, too many of our local citizens do not trust
those in our town government and are so "put-off" by
local politics they have vowed never to attend another
board meeting. Our recent town board meetings have
been a disgrace and an embarrassment to everyone.

The conduct of these board meetings must change and
the sooner the better. If not, the attendance will continue
to fall to where only the board members occupy the room.

Our recent election was another embarrassment to every-
one in town.
The fact that two local residents maybe more
elected to promote a very viscious "hate-mail" campaign
distributing their "sick" messages in our mail boxes had
a serious negative effect on local politics. It was and is
so bad many residents have withdrawn their support for
any and all in our town hall. The truth is that there were
no winners or losers...everyone lost in this kind of election.

Our new mayor and alderman must accept the fact that
although they collected enough votes to win their various
offices it was a hollow victory indeed.
Spoiled by several
mis-guided and tortured souls who felt that everyone
must be informed of their "hatred" and total out-of-con-
trol law-breaking behavior. Sad to say they were success-
ful in poisoning the entire election process...something that
normal people would be ashamed of and would not want
to be associated with. Hopefully the people responsible
for this "hate-campaign" will be totally banished from all
future participation in local government.

Worst of all they just might be held up by some as hero's
who totally influenced the outcome of the election. If
indeed this is the prevailing notion then our town has a
very long way back to recover from this kind of slander.

We have a brief time between when the new mayor takes
office in January and now. Let's all use it to seriously take
inventory of just how high the stakes are and how import-
ant it is as concernced citizens to attend the board meet-
ings and be heard. If we don't we cannot complain about
the poor performance of our town board. Yes, you are
very right the most recent board meetings have been
awful. Send in your comments and let us know how you
feel.

A Living Prayer by Alison Krauss

This is what it is all about...and Nolensville has been selling it without any impact fees, no money for schools, police or fire department? It is worth millions and Knapper & Dugger let it go for absolutely NOTHING! Question is can our new town hall occupants save any of it? We doubt it? Ten years have past...still no impact fees? Brittain Downs the latest developer that paid nothing in impact fees, but got his water OK even if it was 6 months after the fact. Wanna comment? Go ahead and tell us all how this new team will collect the monies our town is entitled too?

WE ARE STILL HERE, JOE, WE STILL LOVE YOU AND IF YOU DON'T MIND WE'D LIKE TELL PEOPLE WHAT THEY DON'T KNOW!

A blog reader said,
"If people really knew
how bad things are in
our town government.
I am sure they would
have voted for you."

Most voters don't have
a clue about happenings
in our local government.

Women voted for the women in our recent election.
Kirby got 370 votes and did nothing. And Dugger got
752 votes for alderman because of the ignorance of
local voters. Our blog readers know of his poor record,
but very few local voters attend the board meetings
and don't know.

Joe Curtsinger lost this election because of a premed-
iated, illegally organized group determined to distri-
bute and mail as much slanderous and libel HATE
reports about him as possible.

We knew that it would be unlikely that very many
would be able to report enough information about
the hate mailing in local mail boxes even with $250
reward. Others were too afraid.

It has got to be a very low point in our local election his-
tory to have to suffer with this kind of HATE toward one
of our elected officials. It is common knowledge that two
of our local people declared in print that they would do
all they could to prevent Curtsinger's election as Mayor.
Sad to say they are after the election still working at
their sorry busy body hateful distribution of lies,
slander and libel.

Yes, they got away with distributing hate mail in your
mail box and many others. The police can do nothing...
the postal authorities cannot or will not. The result was
that they were able to slander a candidate and not be
prosecuted for it by the authorities and thereby win
the election.

Of course, they will deny all of the above with even more
hateful responses to try and shift the blame to anyone
but themselves. It won't work. We are certain that most
of the people that voted for Lothers don't like this hate
mail business and will quickly deny that Lothers had
anything to do with it.

Dependable sources tell us that Lothers doesn't want to
be associated with these "two" hate-mongers and nobody
else does either. The election is over and this stuff should
end, but it won't! These two will contine to try and divide
our town and its people pitting one against another.

Yes, all of us at the blog worked hard to get our candidate
elected as did the Lother's people. Unfortunately, we
were attacked with a "smear" campaign that was ruthless
and was willing to break the law.

Some have said that the legal problems that Curtsinger
was having to work through should have been addressed
with the public. At first, it sounds like a good idea but
when faced with these kinds of "smear" merchants no
amount of explanation would have been enough.

Let's look at the people who declared openly that they
were out to figuratively "hang him on the highest tree".

Dugger declared openly that he was against his campaign.

Alexander jumped for joy at the mere prospect of new and
slanderous complaints against Joe that he could wallow in
and put it in writing in an email for all to read.

And Felts who really knows what he thought? One thing is
for sure he would vote against Joe every chance he could.

Now comes the most difficult question...how does Lothers
honestly feel about Joes' campaign and how involved was
or is she in this "smear" campaign? She could resolve this
question by sending out a statement about it. The reason
why she should is obvious...unless she does...most people
will be convinced that she was a party to the hate mailings
and that this "smear campaign" orchestrated by these
two was the reason she won the election?

What a sad, sick and sorry reason to win an election?
If it is really true then her four years in office will be
doomed to total failure. And any Christian testimony
by Lothers will be an awkward attempt to convince
people you are something you are not.

Let's end this on an upnote of truly inspiring behavoir
by candidate Curtsinger. Despite attack after attack
he did not respond "in kind" but rather in a cool pro-
fessional attitude he kept to the issues and the facts
about how poorly our local government is being run.

Send in your comments and tell us what you think
about our Election 2006 and the future of our town?

NO MATTER WHAT WE STILL LOVE YOU JOE!

That's right Joe, you still have hundreds of dedicated
supporters. As an elected alderman you can still serve
as a solid, common sense elected official with apologies
to absolutely no one. Stay strong...we are still here.

LOOK FOR THIS CURTSINGER FLYER IN YOUR MAILBOX TODAY & SHARE IT WITH YOUR FRIENDS & NEIGHBORS!

Dear Voter,

Nolensville has seen explosive growth over

the last several years. Along with that gro-
wth comes a multitude of issues which must
be dealt with responsibly and methodically.

Our government has to change to meet

the needs of our town. We need an exper-
ienced and well educated candidate who
recognizes the need for change.
I am that candidate!

I have a proven voting record which no

other candidate can show, and have exper-
ienced all working of this government con-
tinuously for the last three years.

I believe in improving communication with-

in this government and to the citizens which
it serves. This will allow our government to
handle the challenges it faces both now and
in the future.

I have a vision for the town which I have pre-

sented throughout my campaign, and if elect-
ed I will work to carry that vision forward.

This vision includes fiscal responsibility,

family oriented growth and cooperation be-
tween the town, development, and the
county.

Thank you for your consideration and your

vote.

Warmest regards.

SCOREBOARD FOR NOLENSVILLE BOARD MEETING, THURS. 11/2..10-YEAR REIGN OF KNAPPER/DUGGER IS DEAD!CURTSINGER ARGUES A BIG WIN!!!

Over 200 plus people packed town hall to witness
another MELTDOWN of the old Knapper/Dugger
reign with our interim mayor Dugger leading the
way to NOWHERE!!!!

People sensed the overall mean mood of most of the
board. So step by step the audience showed their
support for 5 or more citizens who commented on
the outrageous behavior and performance of this
board and were EVICTED FROM THE MEETING.

Dr. Joe Curtsinger held his ground with this board.
Never raising his voice in anger, but defending his
position over and over as a true professional. Despite
accusatory attacks from every member of the board
he remained cool and razor sharp.

Dugger repeatedly threatened to evict people from
the meeting and the MELTDOWN began with people
getting up and leaving the meeting in utter disgust.
One left and shouted to the Mayor to SHUT UP!
More people began to "cough" and make all kinds of
sounds of protest.

Lady Beth-Weaver-Lothers attacked Curtsinger over
the rezoning of one of Dugger's realtor clients accusing
him of faulty logic and being unable to understand his
position. Dirty big secret was Lady Beth just doesn't
know what she is talking about period.

She recused herself from taking part in the mob men-
tality against Curtsinger because she is running for
mayor. She made a huge mistake in judgment assum-
ing Dugger and Felts would also rescuse themselves
because they were also running for office which is a big
conflict of interest. But no such luck...Dugger and Felts
plunged ahead to blazes with ethics...we have only one
thing on our mind and that was to get Curtsinger!

Lady Beth-Weaver-Lothers did herself in big-time she
had to sit there gagged & bound by the rules that allow-
ed her not to speak, comment or ask a question. Truly,
a blessing to many having been spared her "circular-
reasoning" and total lack of the facts about almost
every discussion she wedges herself into.

They started with Sherry Knapper's complaints against
Curtsinger. Entirely based on hearsay, gossip and
rumors. Absolutely no proof was offered...no affidavits
period. Notestine, town attorney recommended that the
board vote to hire an outside attorney. Motion was
made and Felts seconded it to hire outside attorney,
but then he had "second thots" and asked to cancel his
second.

Dugger & Alexander and Felts, then tried to start
a "kangaroo court" to censure Curtsinger. Just as they
did for Felts. Wallowing around in the mud-slinging
with the audience making their disapproval known!

Suddenly, Notestine, town attorney reminded the
board that Sherry Knapper's attorney had sent in a
letter about the compaints. In Notestine's opinion
they had no choice but to hire an outside attorney
which they did. Alexander wanted some comments
submitted by Lynda Moses against Curtsinger in-
cluded. Town attorney said they really didn't mea-
sure up to anything worthy of consideration. In other
words just like Knapper's collection of gossip, rumors
and hearsay Moses' words were pure hearsay, gossip
and rumor. Curtsinger pointed out in the Code of
Ethics a paragraph that stated if a complaint about
ethics didn't rise to the level of an ethics violation
that it should be dealt with as a grievance in the
personnel manual. Again Dugger and Notestine knew
nothing about this in the Code of Ethics.

Next came Woodruff's complaints and grievances
against Curtsinger , that were filed incorrectly toget-
her and not according to deadlines in employees
personnel manual , as was pointed out by Curtsinger.
No one on the board or the town attorney knew any- ,
thing about personnel manual for town? Then came
the moment Dugger, Alexander and Felts longed for
the playing of the answering machine tape where
Curtsinger was supposedly attacking Woodruff for
his lack of fairly applying the town's sign's ordinance.
The content of the tape fell flat on the floor...despite
Dugger's efforts to inflate its importance.

Curtsinger then held up a hand full of personnel re-
ports about Woodruff's inability to peform his job in
a fair and equitable manner. He also asked Dugger
where are the job performance/evaluation reviews
on Woodruff's job history. Dugger had no answer
and town attorney didn't either. Dirty big secret is
that NO JOB PERFORMANCE REVIEWS HAVE
BEEN DONE FOR MONTHS...MAYBE YEARS?

By now you have caught the WAVE of disgust that
swept the entire audience about this current interim
mayor Dugger, his vice-mayor Alexander and their
two puppet aldermen...Felts and Lothers.

Finally, Dugger slowly and painfully came to the
conclusion that he had no choice but to make a motion
to hire an outside counsel to investigate Woodruff's
complaints. Imagined or otherwise?

Bottom line is Dr. Joe Curtsinger is a true "pro" who
knows what he is talking about. This board and town
attorney do not know what they are doing or how to
do it. Our town has been running without any kind of
leadership for months, even years. Everybody left
the meeting knowing this reign of incompetence is
DEAD...and it is time for a new professional team.

FINAL SCORE....TOWN BOARD ZERO! -0-0-0-0-0-!
CURTSINGER OVER 200 HOME RUNS with each one
of the audience silently cheering him on. CLICK HERE
