A Living Prayer by Alison Krauss

This is what it is all about...and Nolensville has been selling it without any impact fees, no money for schools, police or fire department? It is worth millions and Knapper & Dugger let it go for absolutely NOTHING! Question is can our new town hall occupants save any of it? We doubt it? Ten years have past...still no impact fees? Brittain Downs the latest developer that paid nothing in impact fees, but got his water OK even if it was 6 months after the fact. Wanna comment? Go ahead and tell us all how this new team will collect the monies our town is entitled too?

Video is incredible! No one can view this without shedding tears over the mismanagment of our town's resources. Neighbors tell me we have approved 15 developments without ONE IMPACT FEE? This is a criminal act! Can citizens SUE TOWN OFFICIALS? Local residents do not know what is going on in town government. (blog readers do!). Most people hate politics so much they won't go near a town board meeting. A majority of women voted for Lothers who is so "ill equipped" to fight developers and their attorneys. How could this happen? Worst of all Dugger got back in to continue dealing real estate in the back room. What a mess?

Very sad day indeed.
Those of us in Bent Creek are disgusted. Especially the way we have been treated.
Maybe we can ask Brentwood to annex us away from this satire.

We can only hope and pray that the elected are sensitive to the present day residents as well as needed historical and natural preservation.

The Town has lost to much already to development and we ask that the newly elected as well as others including staff, put it's present day citizens first in all matters.
We All should work together for the good of all in the Town of Nolensville.

You're so right. I'm in tears. Unless you attend the meetings and see the under handed tactics that Dugger, Alexander, and Woodruff use, you have no idea what is going on. Even Beth's campaign manager winked and smiled to the developer when Brittan Downs was approved. If you moved here for what Nolensville was, you too should cry because Nolensville is gone.

How can you hope it will improve when those who profit are at the helm? No my son, Nolensville is now gone and a new strip district is at hand. Buy a history book if you want a piece of what it was. There are those of us who cared, and then the new folks who did not understand. Now the new pledge of Nolensville becomes" What's in it for me?".

I agree that we should launch a campaign to have Brentwood annex Nolensville. It is apparent that our city is so mismanaged and duggerized that it is soon to be beyond salvation. I believe most of us would benefit from a brentwood annexation and the dissolution of a Nolensville town charter. Let's get the ball rolling!!

I think everyone needs to learn about subdivisions and approvals, those impact fees that you're talking about went to Williamson County because they were approved by them.

Hello...2:49 pm If the county approves a subdivision outside our city limits then you are correct if the county charges some impact fees they would get them. But if the city approves a subdivision inside the city limits then of course the city will get the impact fees. Trouble is city hasn't charged ONE IMPACT FEE for any of some 15 subdivisions within the city limits. Pretty poor policy that leaves our city with no money in the bank to service these new homes.
