Just found out from James that paving Cowan and Wiggins is on hold again. Apparently, a homeowners driveway was cracked either by a moving truck or blasting and town hall (Rich)thinks the developer should pay for it. Total cost is approximately $1,000.00. Maybe the McFarlin Woods Homeowners Association could help the homeowner pay for it!

The damage done by blasting was on both the curb and our driveway. We had the fire marshall, the city and the developer all out to look at it. The developer agreed that it was his responsibility upon his own personal inspection and started the process to fix it. After the repair worker took a piece of our driveway out the developer decided not to complete the job stating he was given false information. How so? He came out and investigated personally and spoke with the homeowner. Now we are in the middle of a battle between the city and the developer with a hole in our driveway. We could have filled the crack. Considering we did not destroy our own property, the damage is now much worse than it was and we were not told of the process the developer needs to finish what he started.
