ATTN: KIDD RD ANNEXATION! State Law requires a plan of city services be in place before an area is annexed!

NOLENSVILLE INFRASTRUCTURE?

Should the city services come first before
an area is annexed and developed? Or
should the area be annexed and develop-
ed and the city services follow? Well it
will not come as a surprise to most people
in Nolensville that Mayor/Board believe
the city services should follow! Even
though State Law requires a Plan of Ser-
vices approved by board be in place
before an area is annexed. This means a
Plan of Services with "real-world" costs
to the city be approved and in place. We
sent a local person to city hall to get a
copy of the Plans of City Services for the
NINE (9) already approved PUDS now
being built in Nolensville. We were told
those plans were not available to the
public. Only the Mayor/Board had
access to them. Makes you wonder if
indeed they exist and if the State has a
copy for each of the 9 approved PUDS?

So come to the next Mayor/Aldermen
town hall meeting thurs. 3/2/06 and
ask for a copy of the Plan of City Services
for the 1200 acres the Mayor wants to
annex off Kidd Rd. Wonder how money
is allocated to widening Kidd Rd and if
the developer is going to pay for it...not
the city of Nolensville? The PUD develop-
er in this proposed annexation will build
673 homes to start. Where do these
children go to school? Add in 1800 more
autos going up & down Kidd Road. Plus
many more municipal services. Are these
services all included in Plan of City Services
...if so.. please Mr. Mayor let us see a copy
so we can approve it. Just so you know a
"real-world" plan not just a memo to the
State saying you have a plan in place.our
Yes, it will come up again for another read-
ing and approval the Mayor is pushing this
Kidd Road annexation very hard.
Shucks PUD developer thinks it is a done
deal.. so we cannot disappoint the money
man.Plan now to attend next town hall
meeting on thurs. 3/2/06. Turn off the tv
and grab your neighbors...sign up to speak
on annexation.
Tell the Mayor State Law says a Plan of City
Services must be approved and in place
before any area is annexed.

PEOPLE of Baronswood beware. Did you hear that traffic lady talk about up to 25 % off peak traffic into your neighborhood because of MccFarlin pud. None of those aldermen live there so they won't be affected. Wonder what the peak traffic volume will be.
Maybe we can get us a gate like the Nolin Park project got......right in front of Mr. Dugger's home. Get out and have your voice heard.

Could the Nolensville police give the mayor a ticket for breaking the State law on racing into annexing?

Stop this annexation!!!!!!!!!!!
Get your neighbors and friends out to the next BOMA!
Call the guys that seem to want this. Tell them to vote no for now. Until you know what it will cost, you don't want to buy it.

I think the city should not annex and let the developer go to the county where he can get 6000 sf lots and 3 houses per acre instead of 1.8 houses per acre.

Poor little people on Baronswood!
Think about those of us who live
on many acres not just 1/2 acre.
We certainly do not want little bity lots. How about a golf course.

It looks like it would be better for the city to annex and allow a PUD (1.8 house/acre) instead of the county's 3 houses/acre where the traffic could double on Kidd Rd.

You poor folks seem to be not understanding that the density remains same..not three houses per acre under the county.......all the densities are the same. The county is not going to approve a pud there unless the developer improves Kidd road all the way to Nolensville road. Why do you think they have waited on this mayor and his machine to give them this pud. You have been misled by a mayor threatening you with reverse sprawl threats. You definitely need to come to the meetings to get informed!!!!!!! However you hopefully won't complain when you are paying an astronomical property tax to live in Antioch.GET OUT and GET INFORMED!!!!!!

It is so sad to hear the scare tatics being used by the Mayors friends about the COUNTY.
Guess what you live in WILLIAMSON County, and pay County TAXES.
So go, and find out for yourselves instead frighting people with guesses. Why hasn't this developer gone to the County with his plan? ASK
Call your planning commissioners... of Williamson County, Or go with the plans to the County and ask them. Don't take the word of us, or the developer. Find out for yourself.

Who are you asking? ANON 3:57 ? I suggested You ask the planning at County if they would allow the plans of that development on the Kidd Road. Has anyone done that? Or are you all just guessing what the County would allow? Get the facts before you complain about how bad the County is. Do you even know who your County Highway or Planning Commissioner is?
