FOUR MILLION $$$$'S? MAYBE MORE FOR MAYOR'S OLD STRIP MALL TOWN OFFICES ON BACK SIDE OF STRIP MALL?

Remember when the big "O" (zero) said that
"I WON! So I can do whatever I want!" And
he is doing it fast and furiously before anyone
can stop him. He hopes?

So too is our Mayor who was elected after a
very dishonest campaign waged by her
supporters. Tactics she could have come out
against publicly but did not do it.

So too, the Mayor and her majority are moving
to obligate the town to a "LOAN" of 4 million
or more dollars for a new town hall. And they
say the deadline has passed in March 2009
for any local citizen to speak out against it?
And to add insult to injury the Mayor and her
board increased taxes in their last meeting.

Now don't fall for the one that says since you
and your neighbors don't go to the board
meetings you have to live with their decisions?
Ever been to a board meeting? Well here's how
it is conducted. As you enter the meeting you
can sign up to speak to the board for 2-3
minutes. Not one minute more.

Now here's the bad news. The Mayor and/or
board is not required to respond to any question
by any citizen or citizen group. The Mayor may
or may not respond by saying we'll get back to
you. Well don't hold your breath. So much for
open local government.
