BREAKING NEWS CENTER OF TOWN STAYS IN HISTORIC DISTRICT & NEW TOWN HALL NIXED FOR STRIP MALL

Good news...history re-write cancelled and
center of town stays put where it belongs in
historic district where it all began.

New strip mall in doubt and new overpriced
town hall in it was cancelled. 3 new locations
are under consideration hopefully not listed
with real estate agents on board of Mayor &
aldermen. Conflict of interest can surely be
an ugly thing for those in public office.

Do these people know how to run a government????? Or is just the good ol' boy network in place???

Get used to it! The good ol' boy network is still working hard in Nolensville. Dugger our resident real estate agent and vice-mayor probably has listed 925 Oldham Drive where new town hall may be built. And Frank Wilson Planning Commission member wants to sell his land to city for new traffic light. Where's the Mayor in all this?

NO these people don't know how to run a government. The great engineer didn't design the new Rocky Fork and Clovercroft to line up. Now more of Wilson's land has to be used to correct another mistake.
If he won't sell, how about another eminent domain lawsuit?

Take a look at what was done to the Jobe's land in the interest of the public good?

I am shocked! The Mayor and Board just approved Verizon Cell Phone tower to be located on Frank Wilson's land. Frank serves on the Planning Commission and the board just allowed him to get paid $12,000 per year from Verizon. Don't tell me the good old boy system isn't alive and well in Nolensville. The Mayor is a total puppet.

Does anyone know what are we paying HOA dues for? It is my guess that all that money just goes to their nice salaries. Our street signs and stop signs need a coat of paint. They never enforced any rules and many people built tool sheds, vegetable gardens, put swing sets wherever they wanted. Thanks to the neighborhood vandals, most mail boxes are in shambles. After all these years of dues times all the contributing families, something should be done.We would badly need a tornado alarm system even if the city refuses to install one. It could save lifes. Ten dollars a month in the present situation is two trays of chicken that feeds a family of four twice! And we could hire local teenagers to do the minimum landscaping. It would benefit all.
Anybody out there agree with me?
