Down the Drain: 255 jobs; Millions of dollars.
Wednesday, 03/07/07Nissan cuts workforce at

Nashville HQ; sends some jobs to Philippines,

Canada"Cost cutting move comes less than a

year after shift from Los Angeles."

Nissan North America said this morning it is

cutting 255 jobs, many of them in Cool Springs,

as the Asian automaker trims a headquarters

workforce that has been in the Nashville area

less than a year.I forget ... who were the people

that are paying relocation fees to the tune of

millions? (Franklin's Mayor & Nashville's own

Governor Bredesen.)

Also, I noticed Franklin's web page has

been changed recently, right Tom? (Tom Miller

that is, Mayor of Franklin.) Shame on me - and

lesson learned: I will regularly start photo-

capturing the potentate's superlative page.

(Potentate is the Mayor of Franklin and the

web page touting Nissan has been deleted).

Guess who (you the taxpayer) pays for the new

I-65 interchange to accomodate traffic for the

new Nissan Headquarters?? Bredesen can

give away Billions, but not eliminate the food

sales tax in Tennessee. What is wrong with

this picture???

Nissan building schedule on target. Planned for

1,500 people, but they have to substract the 255

or more being fired. Oh Well...the political guru's

will have to lease the excess space to recover

some of their "relocation giveaways". For the

Senator Clinton Talks Funny to Get Votes From African Americans?

Why is it that a Clinton can hold a political rally in a
church and it is OK? Despite a law that says you
cannot do it? Where is the outrage? Imagine the
outcry if a Republican tried this??? The Hildabeast
(Hillary) is copying Bubba Clinton, our first black
President's, scheme to capture black voters.
Trouble is Hillary comes off as a flip flopping, white
politican that will do anything to get votes. This
African American church where she spoke originally
only invited Obama. Hildabeast threw a fit and called
Bubba to call the black Pastor is allow her to join
the rally and talk funny to his members? Have we
all not had enough of the Clintons for a lifetime?
