Democrats Don't Want to Win in Iraq--They just Want to Run Away!

"What ever the cost may be, we shall fight
on the
beaches, we shall fight on the land-
ing grounds,
we shall fight in the fields and
on the streets, we shall fight in the hills,
we shall never surrender."

Winston Churchill.

Thanks to Pelosi
and Reid
Congress
has the lowest

approval rates
in history.

In 2008 voters will remember and
vote NO more cut and run!

DEMOCRATS WANT YOU TO SHUT UP!

“We disarm ourselves when we
succumb to political correctness -
which encourages us to second
guess our common sense and
look the other way. It is an out-
rage that Pelosi and Reid would
allow individuals to be punished
when they come forward to pro-
tect us all.”

Smartest Woman on Earth????

Voters have a right to ask. Clinton's camp may
pooh-pooh the failure. But a new book profiling
her life reveals that it was a big enough deal
that she hid the embarrassment from even her
closest friends for years.

From another biography, we also now learn
that the esteemed senator failed to read the
National Intelligence Estimate on Iraq be-
fore she voted to authorize President Bush
to use force in 2002. She now regrets the
decision, claiming she was misled by faulty
intelligence she never bothered to read.

Turns out Clinton had to be "briefed" by
staffers on the details of one of the most
important government reports ever printed.
What, the smartest woman in the world
couldn't scan a 90-page dossier? She had
to get the Cliffs Notes?

These latest revelations make us wonder
if Hillary Clinton's vaunted IQ isn't just
another Clinton fabrication. Is this why
she refuses to release her Wellesley and
Yale transcripts?

Bush released his Yale transcripts (C student).
So did the previous Democratic presidential
candidate, John Kerry (another Yalie with a
C average). What is Clinton hiding?

Here's why this matters: Voters are supposed
to want to elect her because of her smarts and
competence (because we all know it's not her
honesty). Her brains are her entire selling
point. But we're learning she's not so smart,
after all.

Voters deserve full disclosure to make an in-
formed choice about her credentials for
occupying the highest office in the land.
And without seeing her college records,
they really can't make one.

To be sure, Clinton's no dunce; she got into Well-
esley and Yale. But how does a Yale law student
bomb the D.C. bar and have to settle for practic-
ing law in Little Rock (where she tried just five
cases in her career)?

Did Hillary really "excel" in school? Is she really
the smartest woman in the world? Another bio-
graphy, published a decade ago by Joyce Milton,
suggests Clinton was a mediocre student who
didn't even finish in the top of her high school
class. However, she was a hard worker who had
a reputation as a "teacher's pet" and was skilled
at making the "right connections" to advance
her career, Milton says in "The First Partner:
Hillary Rodham Clinton."

At Wellesley, where she fought for pass-fail
grading as student president, Clinton wrote
her thesis on radical Saul Alinksy, who staged
"fart-ins" to wring concessions from corpora-
tions. Life magazine anointed the budding
social activist as a voice of her generation,
which no doubt sweetened her application to
Yale, then a hotbed of radicalism.

Upon graduating, Bill quickly landed a pro-
fessorship teaching law. But Hillary had no
prospects and stayed behind in New Haven,
Conn. Eventually, a Yale law professor tapped
her to work on the House impeachment staff.
Again, she had the right connections. Hitching
her wagon to Bill propelled her into the state-
house, then the White House and now the
Senate. "I don't think she is smarter than Bill,
though some people will say that," said Ellen
Brantley, who attended Wellesley with Hillary
and later knew both her and Bill in Little Rock.
"Bill was the original thinker, as Hillary was not,"
Milton added.

In short, Hillary has always had more ambition
than brilliance. Is this why she's so scripted and
relies so heavily on handlers and advisers? Is
this why she uses questionable means to beat her
"enemies," perceived and otherwise, hiring
private eyes to dig up dirt on them? Or is this
why she couldn't recall anything when question-
ed by the feds and the press about her various
scandals — from the Travel Office purge and
cattle futures windfall to the Whitewater sweet-
heart deal and missing subpoenaed billing
records?

Is it why she's let herself be publicly demeaned
by a philandering husband? Was he her ticket
to political fame and fortune? The other major
revelation from the latest round of tell-all books
on Hillary is that she was in charge of putting
down what her pal Betsy Wright described as
"bimbo eruptions" during her husband's 1992
campaign. Bimbo? How ironic.

CHUTZPAH.... HAS A NAME & IT'S, CLINTONISTAS! 52 % of Americans will Vote "NO" to a perjurer and a sociopath in 2008!

Former President Bill Clinton criticized President
Bush on Tues for commuting the prison sentence
of I. Lewis Libby Jr. and tried to draw a distinction
from his own controversial pardons.

Yes, that’s right. The perjurer who sold pardons
for fun and profit is criticizing Bush for commut-
ing Libby’s sentence. My friends, that kind of
chutzpah ought to be bottled up and sold on the
market, so pure and potent is it.

In Iowa to promote the presidential candidacy
of his wife, Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton of
New York, Mr. Clinton was asked by a radio host,
David Yepsen, “You had some controversial
pardons during your presidency; what’s your
reaction to what President Bush did?”

“Yeah, but I think the facts were different,”
Mr. Clinton said. “I think there are guidelines
for what happens when somebody is convicted.
You’ve got to understand, this is consistent
with their philosophy; they believe that they
should be able to do what they want to do,
and that the law is a minor obstacle.”

Replace the “theys” with an “I” and you have
the truth.
We’re looking at a true sociopath
here, a man who never let a pesky little thing
like the law get in the way of a good time, a
man who turned the Oval Office into the next
best thing to a brothel, a man whose serial
indiscretions earned the official desigination
of “bimbo eruptions,” lecture Bush on the
single commutation of a sentence that was
the result of a highly dubious investigation
into a crime that never occurred. And this
man might wind up back in the White House.

“It’s wrong to out that C.I.A. agent and wrong
to try to cover it up,” Mr. Clinton added. “And
no one was ever fired from the White House
for doing it.”

Well, that’s because Richard Armitage did it,
and he didn’t work in the White House at the
time. But it’s a useful lie, so Bill Clinton is the
surest man on earth to wield it.

Mr. Clinton pardoned 140 people in the final
hours of his presidency, including Marc Rich,
the fugitive broker who had been charged with
evading tens of millions of dollars in taxes, and
who was the former husband of a top donor to
Democrats and Mrs. Clinton’s first Senate camp-
aign.

Rather than tread lightly on the Libby commu-
tation, the Clintons have chosen to confront it;
Clinton advisers said there was no real alternat-
ive, because the news media would bring up the
Rich pardon anyway.

They’ve chosen to confront it they way they
choose to confront everything–by lying, dis-
sembling, and then going on the offensive.

Just let the record show that Mr. Clinton is
a perjurer who had his license to practice
before the Supreme Court taken away.

Let the record show that he sold pardons
to his rich friends. Let the record show that
he’s still a brazen liar.

And let the record show that it was his pal Sandy
Berger who stole sensitive documents from the
National Archives, hid them under a trailer,
then took them home and destroyed them to
cover up something that the Clintonistas didn’t
want going public, and remember that Berger’s
actions made the 9-11 Commission’s work in-
complete, and we’ll never know what he cover-
ed up.

And let the country remember the missing Rose
law firm billing records that mysteriously turned
up in the Clintons’ White House residence, and
all the rest of that sordid mess that the Clintons
drag around with them like a trailer park full of
skeletons wherever they go.

THE DAFFODIL PRINCIPLE! STOP WAITING! GO FOR IT! START NOW! IT'S NEVER TOO, LATE!

The Daffodil Principle!
Several times my daughter had telephoned to say,
"Mother, you must come to see the daffodils
before they are over. "I wanted to go, but it was a
two-hour drive from Laguna to Lake Arrowhead
"I will come next Tuesday", I promised a little
reluctantly on her third call.Next Tuesday dawned
cold and rainy. Still, I had promised, and reluc-
tantly I drove there. When I finally walked into
Carolyn's house I was welcomed by the joyful
sounds of happy children. I delightedly hugged
and greeted my grandchildren."Forget the
daffodils, Carolyn! The road is invisible in these
clouds and fog, and there is nothing in the world
except you and these children that I want to see
badly enough to drive another inch!"My daughter
smiled calmly and said, "We drive in this all the
time, Mother." "Well, you won't get me back on
the road until it clears, and then I'm heading for
home!" I assured her.

"But first we're going to see the daffodils. It's just
a few blocks," Carolyn said. "I'll drive. I'm used to
this.""Carolyn," I said sternly, "Please turn around."
"It's all right, Mother, I promise. You will never for-
give yourself if you miss this experience."

After about twenty minutes, we turned onto a
small gravel road and I saw a small church. On
the far side of the church, I saw a hand lettered
sign with an arrow that read, "Daffodil Garden."
We got out of the car, each took a child's hand,
and I followwed Carolyn down the path. Then, as
we turned a corner, I looked up and gasped.
Before me lay the most glorious sight. It looked
as though someone had taken a great vat of gold
and poured it over the mountain peak and its
surrounding slopes.

The flowers were planted in majestic, swirling
patterns, great ribbons and swaths of deep orange,
creamy white, lemon yellow, salmon pink, and
saffron and butter yellow. Each different-colored
variety was planted in large groups so that it
swirled and flowed like its own river with its own
unique hue. There were five acres of flowers.

"Who did this?" I asked Carolyn. "Just one woman,"
Carolyn answered. "She lives on the property.
That's her home." Carolyn pointed to a well-kept
A-frame house, small and modestly sitting in the
midst of all that glory. We walked up to the house.

On the patio, we saw a poster. "Answers to the
Questions I Know You Are Asking", was the head-
line. The first answer was a simple one. "50,000
bulbs," it read. The second answer was, "One at a
time, by one woman. Two hands, two feet, and
one brain." The third answer was, "Began in 1958.

"For me, that moment was a life-changing exper-
ience. I thought of this woman whom I had never
met, who, more than forty years before, had begun,
one bulb at a time, to bring her vision of beauty
and joy to an obscure mountaintop. Planting one
bulb at a time, year after year, this unknown
woman had forever changed the world in which
she lived. One day at a time, she had created some-
thing of extraordinary magnificence, beauty,
and inspiration.

The principle her daffodil garden taught is one of
the greatest principles of celebration. That is, learn-
ing to move toward our goals and desires one step
at a time--often just one baby-step at time--and
learning to love the doing, learning to use the
accumulation of time. When we multiply tiny pieces
of time with small increments of daily effort, we too
will find we can accomplish magnificent things.
We can change the world .

"It makes me sad in a way," I admitted to Carolyn.
"What might I have accomplished if I had thought
of a wonderful goal thirty-five or forty years ago and
had worked away at it 'one bulb at a time' through
all those years? Just think what I might have been
able to achieve!

"My daughter summed up the message of the day
in her usual direct way. "Start tomorrow", she said.
She was right. It's so pointless to think of the lost
hours of yesterdays. The way to make learning a
lesson of celebration instead of a cause for regret
is to only ask, "How can I put this to use today?"

Use the Daffodil Principle.
Stop waiting....Until your car or home is paid off...
Until you get a new car or home...
Until your kids leave the house...
Until you go back to school...
Until you finish school...
Until you clean the house...
Until you organize the garage...
Until you clean off your desk...
Until you lose 10 lbs...
Until you gain 10 lbs...
Until you get married...
Until you have kids...
Until the kids go to school...
Until you retire...
Until summer...
Until spring...
Until winter...
Until fall...
Until you die...
There is no better time than right now
to be happy. Happiness is a journey, not
a destination. So work like you don't need
money. Love like you've never been hurt,
and, Dance like no one's watching.
Wishing you a beautiful, daffodil day!
Don't be afraid that your life will end,
be afraid that it will never begin. If you
want to brighten someone's day, pass this
on to someone special. I just did!

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY AMERICA--WE REALY DO LOVE YOU ALL!

Win the War!
Confirm the judges!
Cut the taxes!
Control the spending!
Secure the borders!

COMMUNITIES NIX FIREWORKS ON THE 4TH!

DROUGHT PERSISTS IN WEST AND
SOUTHEAST FIREWORKS CANCELLED!
By Judy Keen, USA TODAY
A laser light show will replace traditional
July Fourth fireworks in Burbank, Calif.
Woodstock, Ga., canceled its fireworks
and plans to shoot them off on Halloween.

Dozens of communities in drought-stricken
areas are scrapping public fireworks dis-
plays and cracking down on backyard pyro-
technics to reduce the risk of fires.

"From a fire standpoint and a safety stand-
point, it was an easy call," Burbank Fire
Chief Tracy Pansini says. He recommended
calling off fireworks at the Starlight Bowl
because they're launched from a mountain-
side covered with vegetation that's "all dead."
It's the only time Burbank's fireworks have
been canceled since they were first held at
the amphitheater in 1994. "Ticket sales are
pretty slow" for the night's events, says city
recreation supervisor Cathryn Villalobos.
"People are saying, 'If you're not having fire-
works, we're not coming.' "

Elsewhere: • Alabaster, Ala., canceled its
public fireworks and Fire Chief Frank
Matherson might propose at a City Council
meeting Monday that all fireworks be pro-
hibited.

"Most people will comply because they see
how dry it is," he says. Water restrictions,
including a ban on watering lawns, make
fireworks even more risky, he says.
• A 120-day ban on fireworks in Kentucky's
Daniel Boone National Forest took effect
Tuesday, says fire management officer
Mitch Gandy. The 700,000-acre forest is
popular with families with their own fire-
works. It's the first ban since 1999.
"We've had 70 fires so far this year,"
Gandy says. "Fireworks land in the leaves
and set fires, which is potentially very
dangerous."

In Madison, Ala., public fireworks were
canceled so firefighters can focus on
possible fires from illegal but rampant
private fireworks. "We're worried about
tying up the manpower because we're
afraid we'll be busy elsewhere," Fire
Chief Ralph Cobb says.
