A new power trans-
mission line would go 6 miles from Triune
Substation to Middle Tennessee's new pro-
posed substation on Williams Rd.just south
of Clovercroft. TVA says line is needed to
meet the sudden growth in Nolensville area.
Population may very well double in 2 years,
3,000 and more homes, a new school and
commercial buildings are being con-
structed. In June 2005 the above route was
deemed to be the preferred route. This
summer they will be contacting property
owners for permission to begin field surveys
and environmental reviews all to be completed
Summer 2006. Fall 2006 begin right-of-way
acquisitions and begin in line service, June 2007.
