PARENTS SAY THAT NEW NOLENSVILLE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL IS GOING TO BE HUGE! 20 MILLION DOLLAR SCHOOL!

CLICK HERE for today's newspaper article
on new Nolensville Elementary School.

Photos above show building construction
in progress at the corner of Newsome Lane
and Rocky Fork Road just east of ball fields
a short distance from Nolensville Road
corner. This corner is today the busiest
traffic corner in Nolensville with a daily

traffic count that is almost beyond any
one's comprehension.

The new school for some 800 students will

add some 1,600 new cars to the traffic count
at the corner of Nolensville Road and Rocky
Fork. This is a narrow corner with no way
to create left and right turn lanes in any
direction.

NOW COMES THE BIG QUESTION FOR OUR
MAYOR & BOARD & PLANNING COMMISSION.
WHAT ARE YOU DOING TODAY TO HELP

REDUCE THE TRAFFIC AT THIS CORNER
PRIOR TO THE OPENING OF THE NEW
SCHOOL YEAR 2007 IN THIS NEW SCHOOL?

WHEN WILL THIS CORNER GET A FOUR-
WAY ELECTRIC TRAFFIC LIGHT PRIOR TO
THE NEW SCHOOL OPENING IN AUGUST 2007?

SINCE IT IS NOW KNOWN THAT THE MAJOR
WATER LINES UNDER ROCKY FORK CANNOT
BE RE-LOCATED IN ORDER TO RE-ALIGN
ROCKY FORK PRIOR TO NEW SHOOL YEAR!

THE MAYOR...THE BOARD AND PLANNING
COMMISSIONS MUST ACCEPT THE FACT
THAT THIS IS A SERIOUS LACK OF KNOW-
LEDGE AND REVEALS ALMOST NO ONE IN
TOWN HALL HAS THE PROFESSIONAL EX-
PERTISE OR EXPERIENCE TO PLAN AHEAD
AND AVOID PROBLEMS LIKE THIS IN THE
FUTURE.

HOW MUCH MORE PROOF DO WE NEED TO
DEMAND THIS MAYOR AND BOARD HIRE A
FULL TIME 24/7 TOWN (CITY) MANAGER WITH

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE AND AUTHORITY
TO OPERATE OUR TOWN FREE OF ANY KIND
OF POLITICAL INTERFERANCE AND PREFERR-
ED
TREATMENT FOR ANYONE EVEN NEW
HOUSING DEVELOPERS AND THEIR
ATTORNEYS.

WAKE UP NOLENSVILLE...IF YOU DON'T HOLD
THE MAYOR AND BOARD RESPONSIBLE FOR
THEIR LACK OF PLANNING AND MISTAKES
THEN WHO WILL?? IT IS UP TO YOU FOLKS
IF YOU DON'T CARE THEN THE TOWN WILL
NOT BE ABLE TO SURVIVE THIS GROWTH!

I thought the Planning Commission was required "by law" to provide a future plan to handle the increase in traffic? Why doesn't the Mayor hold them accountable to anticipate the town's ability to handle new traffic..requiring new roads? I forgot the Mayor appointed some unknown, inexperienced local citizen to head up planning group--so what can you expect? Time to hire a city manager NOW!!!!!

A new town manager will not be hired by this current administration. Why? He would be a threat to the "guaranteed majority" who would interfere with everything he attempted. Tell it like it is...town is being held hostage by Puppetmeister Dugger and his PuppetMayor Lothers. Frankly...this "puppet play" is going to cost residents big time. It already has!

I have heard some "whinning" that all of these problems aren't the fault of our Lady Mayor. SO WHAT? They are still problems she has to solve or move on and out! Don't forget the guy standing just behind the Mayor...our vice-mayor Dugger. He and the guaranteed majority are at fault for not acting on all of these problems when something could have be done about it The new budget will tell us what and if they have done anything at all on June 7th?
