Newest Clovercroft/Cemetery Road OK! Passes New Inspection! Merry Christmas!

Open for only 3 months Nolensville's
newest Clovercroft road around the
town's cemetery passes new (second)
inspection. New samples show an
average of 8.38" of crushed stone base.
8" required. One sample showed 9.5"
of base.

Steve Cates of C & K Development
(Bent Creek) said he couldn't believe
the first test numbers were right.
"I was on the site with town personnel
when gravel was put down. There was
no way a person seeing the road during
construction could believe it," he said.
Cates said he knew the work load for
the city was heavy, but this should
have been addressed in the plan of
service.

How right, Mr. Cates is...city cannot
go on growing at current rate without
additional personnel, a full time City
Manager and better planning for
needed services.

Photo above shows a sign warning
No Construction Traffic. There is
no sign like it on new road. So it is
a matter of time how well the new
road with hold up after heavy
construction traffic? Older city
streets are falling apart due to
construction traffic. Who will pay
for the needed repairs and how
soon?
