Williamson county is full of homes worth one million or more $$'s and they are completed with less trouble than this new bridge/road? So what's the problem? Inexperienced people unqualified for elected office trying to learn while on job. Very expensive and totally unacceptable. Nolensville cannot afford this kind of leadership. Too bad the voters got exactly what they voted for?

With all due respect to reputable contractors, the name of the game is making money and to do that, contractors cut corners. I've managed nearly 100 construction projects, and with little exception, haev had contractors try to slip in something out of specs.

The mayor (and City) should be judged on how they handle getting the problems resolved rather than how the problems occurred. Hopefully, they'll hold the contractor's feet to the fire and enforce bonds, liquidated damages, etc if needed.

Attention 2:17...how wrong you are. The Mayor (and City) were elected to make sure these kinds of problems DON'T OCCUR!We already know how poorly they handle the problems. i.e. recent firing of city policeman, choosing contractors and or consultants. Any experienced contractor can "roll-over" the Mayor's team and city counsel without blinking one eyelid. This would never happen in Brentwood where I live.
Thank God for Mike Walker.

It is really pathetic that we (i did not vote for her) elected a woman who had no qualification other than singing a country song, going to college on daddy's dime, being an airline stew and as a bored housewife she put out a feel good poll to let then Mayor Knapper and his band of cronies know what they would have learned any morning at the two way stop. traffic is horrible in Nolensville and still no lights, I see bands of maruding teens on their skateboards...can you say lack of youth programs? I sure hope Ms. Lothers is a one termer.

Sure so much truth is learned at Two Way where all the ignorant old farts just sit around and gripe without doing anything to help out. ROFL!!!!
Luckily the voters are more intelligent than the town liars

Hi Nolensville

I'm a long time resident of Old Hickory. I saw the link to this on stopswartz.blogspot.com and swartzfacts.blogspot.com. It's amazing that two different communities can have such a dislike for one person. For any of you who have had an encounter with Don Swartz, I can only say that I know how you feel. Any encounter with Don leaves a person feeling as though he got something on him that needs to be washed off. Maybe one day we will both get lucky and he will leave Tennessee and go back north.
