Former Senator Al "Global-
Warming" Gore is asking
permission to install solar
panels on his mansion on
Lynwood Blvd., in Belle
Meade. The city doesn't
permit them or want them
so Alvin won't be able to
reduce his outrageous
energy costs or will he?


Just maybe he'll show up at the zoning hearng
and plead his case. The mansion and guest
house use 1,000 per cent more energy that most
of the homes nationwide. Seems good ole' Al
is feeling the pressure to somehow reduce his
over the top energy consumption. Of course,
the dirty little secret is that the solar panels don't
really create much energy after all. Belle Meade
thinks they are an eyesore and so far haven't
approved their usage period. Look at that sign
what is "conditional use" mean--just temporary
until the media pressure dies down?
