Mayor's Board Voted to FORCE property owners to connect to New Sewer Line in Historic Area? Where's Our American Freedom to Choose Right?

Read the Tennessean article about the
new sewer line for 41 property owners
in the historic area.

Article states the Nashville/Metro Sewer
& Water won't hook up new sewer to their
line unless all 41 property owners agree to
hook ups for their property.

FORCED TO HOOK UP TO NEW SEWER
smacks of a dictator of a 3rd world country?

This is an attorney's dream law suit. Here
come the lawsuits protesting this forced
hook up program. You decide? Comment
on this trampling of one's rights?

Years ago in a state far, far away, my father had a similar situation. The contractor ran a line out to the street, only to find that the city had stopped 2 blocks away from where they said they did. The city settled out of court with my father and several other home owners.

Where is it written that Nashville Metro Sewer/Water and Nolensville can FORCE property owners to hook up to new sewer line? Concord Forest development where we live and four other developments in Brentwood and Franklin all left it up to property owners whether they wanted to hook up or not. Many did not hook up even to this day. 41 properties or less would be absolutely no problem for Nashville/Metro. Absolute power corrupts just like Wash. D.C.

Freedom of Choice is an American right and no small town group of politicos can take it away...period.
Nashville Metro tried to do this in our subdivision in Franklin and we stopped them dead in their tracks.
My advice to the 41 Nolensville property owners is to stand fast for your personal rights.
